Discovering the Power of Story in Your Classroom The annual WSU Storyteaching Symposium will provide opportunities for teachers, parents, and storytellers to learn, through practical and engaging experiences, about the potential benefits of storytelling in addressing core language arts competencies and about best practices in telling stories to children and teaching children to tell stories.
Objectives:
The focus of the conference is to train both elementary and secondary teachers in the art of teaching via storytelling. This is part of the Storytelling festival.
