Description:
Top performers are often promoted to supervisory positions on a team, production line or specific project. Often training is not provided to help a person lead and manage others in his or her new responsibilities. It is important for supervisors to understand their role in meeting the organization’s goals and objectives. This program provides training on the core skills required to be an effective supervisor, including the areas of communication, supporting the mission, team management, problem solving, and employee relations. The program has been formatted for six four-hour modules, which can be taken as a series or individually as company needs define. Additional modules may also be added. Supervisory must also see that team members in their area understand and comply with the government laws and organization policies. Alternate Module-Change and Conflict Management (4 hours) Nothing ever stays the same. Organizations must change and adapt to stay competitive and meet customer needs.
