The supervisor’s responsibilities include performance evaluation and reporting of team members. Learn techniques to make this a positive experience that motivates growth and improves productivity for the individual and the team.
Objectives:
  • Develop competence in performance evaluation to increase productivity
  • Understand and develop skills necessary to positively influence and motivate others
  • Understand the process of performance reporting: setting goals/expectations, providing regular feedback, preparing evaluations, meeting and discussing with employee, setting new goals/expectations
  • Avoid the traps that managers face in performance reporting
  • Understand the importance and principles of feedback
  • Develop skills to recognize, act on the need and convene disciplinary discussions
