Description:
The success of a team is directly tied to the ability of the leader. The leader is responsible for setting goals, keeping the team on track, making sure all of the members contribute, and focusing the energy of the group on the most important issues. The leader is also responsible for making sure the team process remains healthy.
Objectives:
  • Understand how teams develop and mature, and ways to speed this process
  • Set team goals and measure against management objectives
  • Use and demonstrate facilitation skills that maximize team productivity
  • Learn the tools of team problem solving and how to implement them in the team environment
