While on your French Study Abroad Program, you’ll have the amazing opportunity to visit a number of the most famous sights in Paris, such as the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and more! You’ll then spend three weeks studying French at the University of La Rochelle while living with a French family – the ultimate immersion experience – while experiencing all that the French culture has to offer.

For participating in this French Study Abroad, you will receive up to 6 credit hours from the following:

|Dr. Cheryl M. Hansen||Dr. Hansen has taught at WSU since 1989. She teaches a variety of courses such as French language, French literature, culture, grammar, and composition. She has traveled to France extensively, including taking student groups in 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2011, and 2012.|
|June 26 – June 30||Guided cultural activities in Paris.|
|June 30 – July 20||Classes and cultural activities in La Rochelle.|
The tentative cost of the program will include:

- All domestic Transportations
The cost does not include your passport, a Visa, if required, international airfare, incidentals, any unscheduled travel, and excess baggage cost.
This program is open to all WSU students and members of the community age 18 and older; however preference will be given to WSU students. All participants should have at least one semester of French (or equivalent). People in reasonably good health should have little concern for any physical demands. All participants must have a valid passport and must provide proof of that passport to the Study Abroad Office at least 90 days prior to the departure date.
$500 non-refundable deposit due January 13, 2013.
$500 payment due February 24, 2013.
$1,500 payment due March 23, 2013.
Remainder due no later than May 4, 2013.

The Fine Print
If the trip is cancelled, all participants will be refunded in full. Any refunds for withdrawal from the program will be determined by the Study Abroad Director according to the recoverability of incurred costs and fees, and according to Continuing Education Policy. Once the group leaves, all costs are non-refundable in their entirety. Dates and prices may change. It is the responsibility of each participant to be aware of any changes by staying in contact with Study Abroad and the program director.
