School of Computing faculty provide a week long camp dedicated to the popular pursuit of designing video games. Enrollment is limited so please enroll ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for students, male and female, that are curious about an education or career in video game development. No prior coding experience required. *Lunch and snacks provided each day.

WSU PREP motivates and prepares high-achieving students in grades 6–8 for success in school and future careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. WSU Prep is a FREE summer academic program for students who will be attending jr. high in the Davis, Ogden, and Weber school districts.

Join us at the Girl Power Code Camp, designed for beginners, and discover the exciting world of coding. No prior knowledge is necessary. During this four-day program, you'll learn fundamental of electronics, programming, and coding concepts with hands-on activities and develop your own project using an Arduino Kit. Plus, you'll get a T-shirt, water bottle, lunch every day, and take home the Arduino kit to continue your learning journey.

The WSU Medical Academy will help students determine if a career in the healthcare industry is right for them. They will learn how to best prepare for admission to professional schools and make the most of their college experience by WSU student mentors. WSU faculty members will lead discussions and hands-on laboratory activities. Attendees will explore the benefits of a clinical career with local healthcare professionals and patients who have experienced their expert care. Participating in the Medical Academy Summer Camp will provide invaluable opportunities to network with WSU professors and other professional specialists that will aid them in their professional endeavors.
