Astronomy: The Constellations

Since early history, people all over the world have matched myths with patterns in the night sky. Each night, we will focus on a handful of seasonal constellations, learning to find the patterns in the sky and sharing stories about them. After class in the Ott Planetarium (weather permitting), we will proceed to the new public observatory in the Tracy Hall Science Center and practice finding objects in the night sky.

Tue | Aug. 3–17 7–9 p.m. | $59 WSU, Rm. Ott Planetarium
