Ukrainian Egg Decorating: Next Level

Take your basic egg-decorating skills to the next level by experimenting with more advanced techniques such as etching, backwashing, shading and drop painting. This class is recommended for those who have done some Ukrainian egg decorating or have taken the beginner class. All supplies will be provided.

Prerequisite:

You will need to have taken the beginning Ukrainian Egg Decorating class before. If you’ve taken the beginning class, or it's been a long time and you’re worried about whether your skills are good enough, you’ll be just fine. You just need to have an idea of how the kistka and the basic process of “wax and dye” works.

Supplies to bring:

Bring your kistkas and beeswax. If you have an electric kistka, bring your black wax and an extension cord as well. Instructor will have extra supplies for you to use in class if needed. Dyes and a watercolor kit will be provided. If you can’t bring anything at all you will still be fine. The teacher has some supplies you can borrow.

Fri | Nov. 12 6–9 p.m. | $59 3964 West Campus Dr. Kimball Visual Arts Center, Rm. 307 Ogden, UT
