Utah Strong: Handling COVID-19 Stress

In a time of immense worry and stress, work to improve your mental health and overcome challenges. Weber State University is partnering with the Utah Strong program to offer free stress mitigation courses that fight the negative mental health effects of COVID-19.

Participants have the option of taking either daytime or evening sessions of these courses.

This series is provided through a WSU partnership with Utah Strong, a state organization dedicated to relieving COVID-related stress. Stuart Boyd, a marriage counselor and former WSU employee of 15 years, is the main instructor. Boyd previously served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years. Boyd will be joined by co-instructors Debbie Tolton and Dennis Perkins.

* Enrollment in the face-to-face course option will be limited to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines. Those who are unable to attend in person will have the opportunity to join the sessions via video conferencing software. WSU reserves the right to switch that course to an online version should COVID-19 safety guidelines demand it.
