Jewelry Making

Learn the history, fundamentals and techniques of making silver and gold jewelry. Draw and design jewelry, and make a ring, necklace or pair of earrings.

Materials/supplies: Students will choose to make a pendant or a ring; it will be yours after the class. Students will need bring or buy their own materials: one ounce of silver sheet, and one stone, as follows:

Silver: If you have an ounce of silver sheet, you may bring that, or get it from the instructor for approximately $30, or from any supplier.

Stone: You will choose to make a pendant OR a ring, and it will be yours. If you have a stone of appropriate size for either project that you would like to use, please bring it. Or, again, the instructor will have a variety of stones available for roughly $10- $30, depending on the size and the stone. Or you may purchase it from any supplier.
