Master of Arts in English

A Graduate Program Cohort for English Teachers

The graduate cohort program is a master’s degree path for high school English teachers. It is designed to qualify them to teach Concurrent Enrollment classes at their local high school after just one semester in the program. The cohort structure groups fellow educators together into pre-selected classes over the course of six semesters. This model of learning encourages student success through collaboration and shared experiences. Cohort students take 6 credit hours every semester, including summer, for a total of 33 credit hours.

Reduced Tuition Cohort students pay less in tuition and fees than other students in the Master of English program. At $320 per credit hour, the total savings on the entire cost of the program averages $3000.

Convenient Location Classes for this program are at Weber State Farmington Station at Station Park. The state-of-the-art facility is centrally located and offers convenient access to the FrontRunner train station.
