Each year, nearly 200 undergraduate writers and poets throughout North America, and sometimes beyond, come to Weber State University to present their work and learn from some of the most important writers in contemporary literature.

Featuring Award Winning Authors

  • Azar Nafisi

    Azar Nafisi is the author of the national bestseller Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books. She has written for The New York Times, Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.

  • Lynda Barry

    Lynda Barry has authored 21 books, worked as a commentator for NPR, and had a regular monthly feature in Esquire, Mother Jones Magazine, Mademoiselle, and Salon.

  • Matthew Olzmann

    Matthew Olzmann’s poems, stories, and essays have appeared in Kenyon Review, New England Review, Necessary Fiction, Brevity, Southern Review and elsewhere. He teaches in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College.

Attending the Conference

If your submission is accepted to be presented at this year's conference.

Registration is $140 which includes an evening banquet on March 30th and breakfast on March 31st and April 1st and must be paid by March 24.

Late registration is $165 and, although you may attend the banquet, dinner may not be possible unless prior arrangements have been made.

A guest of a conference participant may attend any conference event at no additional cost, with the exception of the March 30th banquet. Banquet guest cost is an additional $35 per guest.

Travel, hotel accomodations and some meals are at the participant’s expense.
