Leaders face a considerable amount of conflict.

This course helps leaders understand the importance of conflict, how to navigate conflict effectively, and ways to utilize conflict for benefits and opportunities.

In this course you will be introduced to conflict and some of the helpful theories found in the field. You will also learn ways to utilize these theories in resolving conflict mediation.

Outcomes:
• Synthesize the many definitions, connotations and perceptions of power and conflict.
• Assess the impact of each type of conflict on employees and the organization.
• Critique the use of various conflict resolution strategies.
• Cultivate personal communication and reflection techniques to resolve conflict
• Integrate conflict resolution techniques into organizational culture.
