Discovering the Power of Story in Your Classroom

The annual WSU Storyteaching Symposium will provide opportunities for teachers, parents, and storytellers to learn, through practical and engaging experiences, about the potential benefits of storytelling in addressing core language arts competencies and about best practices in telling stories to children and teaching children to tell stories.

Dates and Location

Classes will be held in the Hurst Center at Weber State University

  • Thursday, June 14th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Friday, June 15th from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Regular Registration:

**Participants are welcome to bring their children/family members for the 6:30 pm evening session at no additional charge.
