Testing for Online Students
As a WSU Online student you may not be able to make it to campus to take course exams,
so you may need to make special arrangements for a place where you can take your tests.
A proctor is a neutral third-party person who can ensure your course exams are taken in compliance
with the instructor's requirements. He/She will administer your test in a secure location that
ensures test integrity. Common proctor sites include libraries and college testing centers.
The average cost for a proctor is $25-$40 per exam. You should make sure you can find an
affordable and convenient proctor before you sign up for classes.
