Description:
This competency-based course provides field managers of varying level of experience, a step-by-step approach to develop and hone their project management and leadership skills. Students will learn the roles and responsibilities of project management, including technical and management skills. The class stresses the importance of job-site safety, loss prevention, key elements of successful negotiations and negotiating techniques, emphasizing the importance of documentation, best practices regarding their revisions, accurate estimation, and the importance of cost control.
