The supervisor’s responsibilities include performance evaluation and reporting of team members. Learn techniques to make this a positive experience that motivates growth and improves productivity for the individual and the team.
Objectives:
- Develop competence in performance evaluation to increase productivity
- Understand and develop skills necessary to positively influence and motivate others
- Understand the process of performance reporting: setting goals/expectations, providing regular feedback, preparing evaluations, meeting and discussing with employee, setting new goals/expectations
- Avoid the traps that managers face in performance reporting
- Understand the importance and principles of feedback
- Develop skills to recognize, act on the need and convene disciplinary discussions
